Circa 1960s Davao City, it was rough walking back home from grade school. Kanto boys (street kids) tried to bully the school boys. You had to remember to carry your shiv in your socks.

getting schooled lately at the dream job. might as well apply what i am (re)learning, no?

in one of my art books, it was recommended to really figure out what is going on with the composition and the mood in some of our favorite films. this one is from In The Mood For Love where Maggie Chung and Tony Leung's characters are walking from their first dinner. i think i am starting to figure out the stuff i need to re-learn.

...fight the good fight. i need to keep that mantra going in my head.

she told me a dream of hers. she was a soldier in Counterstrike and she was raiding an island with her compatriot.

an exciting saturday evening (edit...unwound after work by throwing some color on it. I think I will continue on with the sketchy thing for a bit).
